Order

How can I order?
Choose your favorite Growing Concepts in our webshop and add it to your shopping cart. Go to the shopping cart and follow the steps in the checkout to place your order: create an account if necessary, fill in your address details, choose your payment method, confirm your order and complete the payment. Your order is then placed and you will receive an order confirmation via email.
Can I still change or cancel my order?
Have you placed an order via our webshop, but accidentally made a mistake? Then respond as soon as you receive the order confirmation via e-mail by answering this e-mail and passing on your desired change. If the package has not yet been sent, we will of course be happy to carry out this change or cancellation.
Can I order from abroad?
Yes, Growing Concepts ships throughout Europe. Here you will find an overview of the countries we ship to and the associated shipping costs.
What is the status of my order?
As soon as your order is shipped, you will automatically receive an email with a Track & Trace code. This code provides insight into the delivery status of your order. Didn't receive anything? Check if the message ended up in your spam.
Are the prices shown inclusive of VAT?
Yes, all prices include VAT. Are you ordering for business purposes and would you like to deduct VAT? Please enter your VAT number in the appropriate field during checkout, and the VAT amount will be calculated before payment and stated on the invoice.

What payment options are available?
You can pay securely with us using the following payment methods: credit card (Visa and Mastercard), PayPal, iDeal, Klarna (Dutch customers only), Mister Cash (Belgian customers only), Sofort Banking (German customers only) and the Growing Concepts gift card.
Can I also pay afterwards?
Yes, you can pay for your order afterwards with kLARNA (Dutch customers only).

Delivery time & delivery

When will I receive my Growing Concepts?
We do our best to deliver your order within one to two working days.
Do I pay shipping costs?
Shipping costs for orders in the Netherlands are 3.95 euros. For orders over 75 euros, shipping costs are free. Shipping costs to Germany and Belgium are 4.95
Can I track my package?
Yes, that is possible. As soon as we have given your order to GLS, you will receive an e-mail with a Track & Trace code. With this you can track the delivery of your package. We aim to ship your order the same working day, unfortunately this is not always possible. The delivery time within the Netherlands is usually one working day. Here you can find the estimated delivery times for Europe.
Can I also have my package delivered somewhere else?
Yes, you can enter a different shipping address than your billing address. For example, you can have your order delivered to your work or to someone else, in case it is a gift.
Do you also deliver abroad?
Yes, Growing Concepts delivers throughout Europe.
What does the carrier do if I am not at home?
If a parcel cannot be delivered to you, it will be offered to your neighbours by default. If the parcel delivery to your neighbours is also not successful, you will receive a message from the delivery person. This message contains a 'not-at-home code'. With this code, you can choose a second parcel delivery on the GLS website on a day, time slot and location that suits you better.

Returns

Can I return my order?
Is the order incorrect or is something wrong? We will do our best to resolve this as quickly as possible. Please contact our customer service.
How do I return an item?
If there is something wrong with your product, please contact our customer service
When will I get my money back if I return something?
As soon as an item is returned to us in good condition, the amount paid will be refunded to you. We work together with external payment companies. Refunds are usually made within one to fourteen days to the account with which you paid for your order.

Warranty

How long is the warranty on an item?
Growing Concepts fully guarantees the quality of its products. All items you buy from us are covered by the legal guarantee that a product must do or be what you as a customer can reasonably expect from it. If you have a complaint about a product, we would of course like to resolve this with you. Please contact our customer service for this.
What exactly is covered by the warranty?
The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects. Damage to the products due to negligence or negligent maintenance is not covered by the warranty
What is the warranty certificate for my item?
The order number you received from us by email serves as proof of warranty.
Help, the quality of my plant deteriorates shortly after purchase. What now?
Our plants come directly from the grower and are carefully packed and shipped. After delivery, the care and living conditions of the plant cannot be checked by us. If your plant changes or dies within two weeks of purchase, we will send you a refill package free of charge. Send a photo of the product and your order number to our customer service. You will then receive new contents for the glassware as soon as possible: pebbles, soil, moss and plant(s).
My product is defective. Can I exchange it?
All Growing Concepts products are made with the utmost care. Is there still something wrong with the product? Please contact our customer service. You will receive a substantive response from us within two working days of receipt of the complaint or question. If everything indicates a poorly produced product, you can return it at our expense and we will send a replacement.
What can I do if my product was delivered damaged?
We take every possible care in sending our products. Did your Growing Concepts arrive damaged? In order to be able to properly handle the complaint, we ask you to send the following:A photo of the outside of the package with the package label visibleA photo of the opened package with the contents and the inner packaging in the package clearly visible.A photo of the entire size of the product.A detail photo/close-up of the specific damage to the item. Send the photos to our customer service. You will receive a substantive response from us within two working days of receipt of the complaint or question.
The glassware broke on the way. What now?
Despite our best efforts to pack the glass as well as possible, it can unfortunately happen that glassware breaks in transit and arrives broken. Send a photo of the damaged package, stating the order number, to our customer service and we will send you new glassware as soon as possible. We advise you to remove the plant(s) from the packaging in the meantime, give them some water and store them in a light place in the house until the new glassware arrives. Is the plant also damaged? Please mention this and we will also send you a new plant.

Where and how are Growing Concepts products made?
Our products are assembled with great care and love in the Netherlands. We work with artisanal and local makers and are closely involved in the production process.
What materials does Growing Concepts use?
We work with natural materials that we select with the greatest care for sustainability and longevity. Our plants come directly from the grower, the glassware is recycled and the woodwork for the accessories is handmade by a Haarlem company.
What does the MPS quality mark mean?
We work together with the best growers in the Netherlands and Denmark with an MPS certification. This is a quality mark in the field of sustainability. With this certificate, these growers meet requirements in the field of traceability, environment, crop protection products and recall procedures.
Why choose Growing Concepts?
Growing Concepts makes unique products that give your interior a stylish look. We use natural and high-quality materials with a long lifespan.
How exactly does a mini-ecosystem work?
A closed terrarium creates a microclimate itself, which allows the plants to keep themselves alive. The plants transpire water in the form of vapour. This partially condenses, causing droplets to appear on the inside of the glass. These droplets moisten the soil and provide an environment in which the plants and moss thrive.
What does the DIY ecosystem consist of?
Our ecosystems are delivered as a complete Do It Yourself package. It contains all the supplies and step-by-step instructions to get started yourself. The content of the package consists of pebbles, soil, moss and the plant(s).
Shouldn't there be a rubber ring at the closure of the preserving jar?
Our years of experience with ecosystems have taught us that some plants do not thrive in hermetic sealing. That is why we opt for normal sealing, with some air added, thus creating the optimal climate for the plants. Just look at our Eggs and Corks.
I want to give your ecosystem as a gift. How long can I leave the plants in the closed box?
Great that you are going to surprise someone with a Growing Concepts! Are you going to give the product later after receiving it? Then we advise you to take the plant(s) out of the box and out of the packaging, give them some water and store them in a light place in the house until you are going to hand over the gift. You can also choose to assemble the DIY package yourself and give it to the recipient already fully installed.
